I refused to see the remake of the Hitcher. Nothing can top the original. I'm going to check out b13...just added it to my Netflix queue

I part time in a record store up here in New Hampshire and I stocked a healthy horror section. There used to be a good deal of people who came by just to consult me on off-beat titles but I don't see them much these days. It's gotten pretty grim. The last person I tried to turn on to cool movies was this girl who couldn't stop talking about The Hitcher remake. I tried to get her to buy the original but she couldn't get over the fact that it was made before she was born. I do a sort of weekly featured movies over there and I can't seem to move them. I had Behind The Mask and District B13 on featured last weekend and no one bit. I'm going to have to write up B13 soon, though. That movie is absolutely amazing!

wow! yeah everyone I tell about these great movies lately seem to be more wrapped up in movies like Spiderman 3. I had to literally drag some friends of mine practically kicking and screaming to see Grindhouse because they thought it would be stupid but they loved it. It helped that I paid for the darn tickets. They just don't know the greatness of b-movie.

May the power of Gymkata guide them:)

I'm having a real hard time convincing my friends of this, man. I use huge superlatives and even went so far as to call it the best slasher of the last 20 years.

Just saw this movie last night. Wow! amazing. Totally threw my expectations out the window. Often times hilarious and the last portion of the movie becomes a great homage to classic slashers with the great switch over from documentary style to full blown hollywood horror film. Glad to see you enjoyed it as much as me.
