This movie may technically be dreadful, but I love it. It is wonderfully watchable and I am so grateful that this movie was made. I appreciate Mr. Ho's directing and I can safely say this is one of the greatest movie experiences I have had the pleasure to take part in.
If you do not have this film, buy it!

I doubt he was trying to make a movie this bad, but it almost looks like it. Even the sound guy is awful, inserting thuds when the fighters miss. And I'm talking about intentional choreographed misses. Did someone not give the man the script? I know its hard to tell the intentional misses from the hits on a fight scene this bad, but still.

I found out about Undefeatable after watching another Ho masterpiece, "Honor and Glory", which has many cast members from Undefeatable. It was actually filmed in the same area. I thought "Honor and Glory" was laughably bad. I went to IMDB to find out about Undefeatable and my eyes have been opened to the light. After seeing the final fight scene on YouTube, I "acquired" the movie and WOW!! I may have found the greatest "bad" movie I have ever seen in my life. Thank you Mr. Ho!!

What's worse is that Godfrey Ho actually teaches a class in filmmaking and not at some community college, either. He's actually a professor at a major Hong Kong university. I wonder if his students have any idea of what he's done to qualify him as an filmmaking instructor.

Undefeatable is dunk on its own incompetence. It's completely out of control. I'd love to talk to Ho so I could ask him just what the hell he thinks he's doing. Most of the Ho movies I've seen are these fever dreams where nothing really makes sense but where a guy like Guy Maddin makes that work for him, Ho is just trying to crank out shitloads of movies in as short a time as possible.

This may be his Citizen Kane.

You review is so right; what distinguishes this movie is indeed the fact that it is totally, incomprehensibly awful in every aspect. It is offensive on every level!
