“Bryan Loves You” Headed For Anchor Bay
May 23rd, 2008 by Todd Rigney
Critically acclaimed writer/director Seth Landau’s outstanding atmospheric chiller Bryan Loves You — a film yours truly has declared to be “an Orwellian nightmare for the YouTube generation” — is finally coming to DVD this fall thanks to genre-friendly distributor Anchor Bay. This eerie fact-based feature, starring Seth Landau, Tony Todd, George Wendt, Daniel Roebuck, Tiffany Shepis, and Brinke Stevens, follows the exploits of an inquisitive young therapist as he attempts to unravel the mystery behind a creepy, Bryan-worshipping cult which has moved into his quaint suburban neighborhood. Lots of unnerving events promptly ensue.
To help promote Bryan Loves You, Landau Motion Pictures is giving away one Bryan mask used during production and one shooting script autographed by the cast and crew to a pair of impossibly lucky individuals. If you’re more than a little interested in participating in said contest, point yourselves in the direction of Seth Landau’s MySpace page (www.myspace.com/sethjlandau) and leave a comment that indicates which prize you’d like to acquire. The winners will be selected randomly this summer. I’ve already chewed my fingernails past the quick in anticipation.
