The Alamo is at it again. Dawn of the Dead roadshow posters.

A little while back I hit you with Tyler Stout’s awesome poster for the special screening of John Carpenter’s The Thing at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas. Their series of outstanding silk screened posters continues with their roadshow series which has a stop at the Monroeville Mall just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania later this month as a part of the Horror Hound Weekend with a presentation of George A. Romero’s iconic film, Dawn of the Dead, a film that I’m learning is exceptionally difficult to license for your own theatrical showings.
This time, the poster comes from artist James Rheem who also worked up a fantastic riff on A Nightmare On Elm Street. I’ve long been a fan of these exclusive rock show style posters and the recent run on genre movies in typical three-color glory has only sweetened the deal. I splurged on Tyler’s The Thing poster and couldn’t be happier, but now I’m cursing because I won’t be able to afford one of these. Get one while you can. The Alamo usually has 200 printed up and they fly out of stock in record time.

Wow, that is a pretty slick poster!
