You can find decent copies of Moonrunners on Ebay. I've bought several there.
Moonrunners may be a low buck edgy flick, but I think it captures the very essence of that time. One of my favorites! first time I saw it was at the drive-in when I was 18! Truthfully, its more believable than Dukes of Hazzard can be,mostly because there cars didnt fly in the air and keep going after it crashed. Also, I've known a few men who ran liquor in their day, and you didnt want to draw attention with a flashy set of wheels. Old cop cars were made to order! Raised down south here in rural N.C. the back roads, old beer joints ,dirt track racin' and close knit good ol' boys in this movie brings me back to a simpler more enjoyable time. I'd be proud to go and hang out with them good ol' Hagg boys from Shiloh!

Here's a thought: how about listing the director or writer or at least provide a link to imdb or wherever we might be able to learn more about the film and/or buy or rent.

Other than that, rock on, keep 'em coming.

That's the problem. Typically I include where you can get these movies in the review but this one doesn't exist outside of bootlegs. There are a few places out there that sell DVD-Rs but you'll be hard pressed to find it in any kind of quality release. The version I saw came from the Flix network and even that version was pretty badly damaged.
