"Vigilante" has its problems, but it also showcases one of Williamson's better performances. Maybe it was Lustig, maybe it was the material -- I'm not really sure. Whatever the reason, Fred was definitely in top form.</description>

I tried to write a review of Vigilante last week and I just couldn't do it.  That opening scene where Williamson is addressing the neighborhood about how to handle crime that ends with the people on the firing range gives me chills.  It's a seriously top shelf scene but the rest of the movie was so unfocused and paced so weird.  Maybe I'll try again later.</description>
