Locke & Key: Head Games begins this month

locke and key: head gamesA few months back I saw Joe Hill talk at a local book store in downtown Exeter, NH. He laughed at me when I asked if the continuation of his stellar mini-series, Locke & Key, was still on for November which the last issue of the series claims. Then he politely explained how the process works and shooting for November was optimistic at best.  At the end of it all, Joe said that the series would resume in January.  Looks like that is on schedule.

If you’re just joining us, Locke & Key easily qualified as the finest and most original horror comic I’d read in years. Joe Hill’s story was complimented and emphasized by the outstanding artwork of Gabriel Rodriguez. The Locke family moved to Lovecraft, Massachusetts to the old family estate to rebuild their lives after the savage murder of their father but the supernatural properties of the house and the malicious spirit trapped in the well house as well as the escaped killer only complicate the path to recovery.

Look for the continuation of the series, Head Games, in comic shops on January 28th.  In the meantime order a copy of Locke & Key: Welcome To Lovecraft now
