Man, fuck that NES game.

A buddy and I used to fantasize about a sandboxy horror game that put you in the role of the slasher set loose on a college campus or summer camp. The Manhunt games were supposed to have that feeling but those games play out like a snuff movie. In ours, there would be no shortrage of creative means of killing laying around, plenty of victims and you'd be rewarded for herding victims into certain circumstances that recreated the feel of the movies, like startegically placing dead bodies where they'd be found for dramatic effect, the power going out at just the right moment, cars not starting... basically the setup scene from Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. Maybe I'll pitch this game at PAX when the first PAX East show hits Boston.
