Halo-8 isn’t exactly my scene. A lot of the the stuff they sell screams, “IF YOU LIKE SUICIDE GIRLS, YOU’LL LOVE OUR MOVIES!!” They even have a series of pilates DVDs for metalheads. Their entire aesthetic just clashes with my particular taste. So I’ve snubbed them in the past when they were nice enough to include me in the distribution of their press releases. So this time around I figured I’d be cool and let you know about Xombie: Dead On Arrival, the DVD release of the complete flash series by James Farr.
Xombie plays out a bit like Lone Wolf & Cub where a conscious, heroic zombie named Dirge must battle hordes of the undead in order to reunite a lost child with her family. The whole thing has staggering production values for a web series and looks like an awful lot of fun.
