Ah, The Rondos. There are a lot of groups out there who do a sort of annual round-up of the best in horror entertainment for any given year but none are so dedicated to recognizing the finest offerings in the world as The Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards organized by the dedicated members of The Classic Horror Film Board.
Over the weekend it was brought to my attention that Cinema Suicide had been nominated in the category of Best Horror Blog and I couldn’t be happier. I do this simply because I love the genre and I love to write, but being recognized alongside someone like Tim Lucas and his Video Watchblog (who I’m competing against) is a humongous honor.
The Rondos are fan run and fan supported and I would greatly appreciate it if you, dear reader, took a minute out of your day to stop by the Rondo Awards website and cast your vote for me. Voting is simple. You simply send an email to taraco@aol.com and specify Cinema Suicide for Best Horror Blog (put your name in the email somewhere, too). Though I urge you to go to the website, go down the list and vote in other categories because there are other people like myself who are kicking out a killer product who would also appreciate your votes.
