Here it is! The trailer for How To Survive The Strange!

Posted by Bryan White | Wednesday May 5, 2010 | News

Maybe you’ve noticed. Things have slowed down here considerably in the last month or so. I’ve been spreading myself a bit thin lately between blogging, writing fiction and comics and prepping a new web series with John Herman. The web series gets most of my time. I wrote half the episodes, I host the show and I’m responsible for inventing our special effects needs, which has been a freakin’ blast. With the launch date of May 17th fast approaching, we figure we should whet the public appetite with a trailer of sorts to get you excited for How To Survive The Strange.

I’ve been pitching The Strange to people as “Bob Vila, Vampire Hunter” as the premise is a fairly silly one. I, playing myself as a sort of satanic handyman with the chops to install custom cabinets and plumbing also offer DIY tips for staving off vampire attacks, zombie hordes at your doorstep and stumping the local campground slasher. It’s  been a lot of fun and we’re almost in position to start rolling this show out. So check it out and then head over to our Facebook group to see what’s happening there. For extras, photos, interviews and everything else, there’s a new blog and John and I will be attending The Granite State Comic Con to meet all of you fine people. We’ll also be talking on the zombie panel with Zombie Bomb creators, Rich Woodall and Adam Miller and Walking Dead “colorist”, Cliff Rathburn.

So keep coming back. Join the Facebook group, follow me on Twitter, keep your eye on Shortstream TV or whatever. It’s going to be on the web only and starts May 17th.
