One of the things that stands out about this movie is that for a Shaw Brothers’ flick, the cinematography isn’t too bad. It’s definitely in the top 5 in my book of enjoyable and memorable kung fu films.

Completely awesome, this movie is great i love the training statue for pressure points with the steel balls. I could never get enough of Bak Mei (white eyebrow)vs Hung Gar ( Tiger Crane). We all know the hung gar kid would have bought the farm ,Lol. But the movie is really cool , their should have been a Jook Lum Movie from the Shaw Brothers. this also was a great portrayal of the White Eyebrow master , screw those goody goody hung gar guys!

I’ve been nothing but pleased with the Dragon Dynasty releases so far. I’ve also picked up a ton of the 20th Century Fox/Fortune Star titles such as The Prodigal Son, The Magnificent Butcher, Hand of Death, etc. over the past few months, most of which you can get for around $9 on Amazon.com. It’s good to be a kung fu fan these days.

The beauty of a lot of these movies is that you can get them for very cheap. The quality is usually quite low, though. Recently, a company called Dragon Dynasty has been re-issuing a lot of movies that used to be in the Tai Seng library and Anchor Bay has been releasing these great Shaw Brothers titles for around 20 bucks.

I’ve never seen Fist of the White Lotus, though I do plan to procure this title in the near future. I’m always on the lookout for quality kung fu, even if I have to drop some serious cash to import the stuff. We all have our addictions, I suppose.
