I just got done watching the movie, and though I thought it ran a little long, loved the whole thing. I haven't seen Nic Cage in a movie he fit well in since Con Air (and even that is a stretch). Maybe Bringing out the Dead. I hadn't read the comic and to me there were some seriously startling scenes I didn't expect (which is a good thing, since most movies go with what is expected). I wont name them here since spoilers suck, but I will say I thought they were dream sequences and were pulled off nicely. I'd also like to add that it was nice that the trailer didn't give away the whole movie. In fact, the trailer lead me into the theater with just the right amount of information for me to be surprised.
Loved the Scott Pilgrim name drop too. Good movie, good review, good times.
